SHINE Technologies, LLC, together with its affiliates, (“SHINE”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our visitors and their personal information. We may collect your personal information if you or the company you work for engage with a SHINE website, as well as from actual or potential suppliers and customers.  We may collect information directly (e.g., when you provide information to us via a SHINE website), automatically (e.g., through the use of cookies when you visit a SHINE website), or from other sources.

Information we obtain from you when you interact with or access SHINE websites may include:

Log Files

SHINE follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit SHINE websites. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date time zone and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and page interaction information (such as scrolling, mouse-overs, and possibly the number of clicks). Personal Information you provide

SHINE only collects personal information that you voluntarily provide, typically when you express an interest in obtaining information about SHINE or our products and services and communicate with us via our websites.

When you use the “Contact Us” link located on a SHINE website, the information you fill out on the “About You” and “How can we reach you?” sections is collected by SHINE.  Depending on the context of your interactions with SHINE, that can include personal information including, name, address, email address, phone number who your work for and your job function and information summarizing the nature of your inquiry.

How we protect your information

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Where do we store your information?

The information that we process in relation to you is held on SHINE’s servers in the United States.

Where you are resident in European Economic Area (“EEA”) or UK, your personal information will be transferred to, and stored outside the EEA or UK and may not be subject to equivalent data protection law. It may also be processed by staff situated outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers.

Your personal is held information outside the EEA and UK:

  • In order to facilitate the operation of our website and business where it is in our legitimate interests and we have concluded these are not overridden by your rights.

How long we keep personal information

We may also retain aggregate information beyond this time for research purposes and to help us to develop and improve our websites and services. Third Party Privacy Policies

SHINE websites may, from time to time, contain links to other third party websites, social platforms and services. SHINE’s Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of personal data by such other platforms, services or websites and we are not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of such platforms, websites or services.

Children’s Information

SHINE does not knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable Information from children under the age of 18. By accessing the SHINE websites, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If you believe that your child has provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such information from our records.
