SHINE Technologies, and Curadh MTR Inc. announced today an expanded long-term supply agreement for medical isotopes that promises to reshape the landscape of cancer therapies.

SHINE has demonstrated clearly visible Cherenkov radiation produced by fusion for what is believed to be the first time in history. This visible evidence provides further proof that fusion can produce neutrons on par with some nuclear fission reactors.

There are 43 fusion companies worldwide, including 25 in the United States, according to the latest Fusion Industry Association report. SHINE is one of three based in southern Wisconsin. Why is the state such a hot bed for fusion technology?
